Eden Prairie has added more than a dozen way-finders and started marking specific areas with tall monument signs. Richard Lang of Visual Communications says “all cities are looking for identification, and these cities in the suburbs are becoming very important destinations for people.”
In an age of GPSs and smartphones,digital maps and navigational tools to guide us everywhere, more cities are adding signs to help drivers, encourage walking and biking and aid in branding communities in a positive way.
