Master Plan Signage & Wayfinding
Visual Communications has created many campus master plan programs for high-end office complexes. These encompass the creation of campus identity signage; parking identity and directional signage; entrance directional signage; and interior signage such as touchscreen directories and tenant suite identity. We use a holistic approach, with design features that complement the building environment and landscaping, as well as the look of adjacent amenities such as restaurants, retail entities and parks.
Our Gallery features a sampling of projects we’ve completed for office campuses. All are reflective of Visual Communications’ long-standing reputation for design excellence, operational integrity, and project management expertise. Consider the exterior and interior signage master plan we created for Normandale Lakes Office Park, for example. From the dramatic, attention-getting identification monument that reigns majestically over the property’s reflecting pool and gardens, to exterior wayfinding and parking facility signage, to the innovative interior wayfinding and signage hierarchy incorporating electronic data and standard ADA messaging, you’ll find that every detail is in place.
Park Commons represents a second example of Visual Communications excellence. This multi-use redevelopment area of St. Louis Park includes existing and new properties covering a 24-block area. Visual Communications was tasked with creating a logo and branding for the project, as well as putting together a signage master plan encompassing office, retail, and residential environments. The creative design that we developed is reflective of the parklands and prairie school influences that are historic to the area. Relying on low profile ground monuments and obelisk markers to enhance wayfinding and continuity; it provides visually cohesive impact throughout the commons.
