A new building identification and wayfinding sign system was designed for Becker Public Schools to help distinguish multiple buildings and direct heavy vehicular traffic on campus.
The large 109 acre campus is home to the high school, middle, intermediate and primary schools, making traffic congestion a primary concern. Visual Communications created a color code system inline with Becker’s school colors, to help parents and new students navigate this complex campus.
The main identification directory monument sign is internally illuminated with high-efficiency low-voltage LEDs, to provide a clean, bright look for several years. Secondary directional signs and friendly kiosk map directories were also implemented to help direct and inform.
At the Aquatic Center & Field House, international pictogram symbols were used to identify activities inside the building, as well as add some visual excitement.”
