Local Recognition for an Outstanding Year of Small Business

We already knew that 2013 was going to be an awesome year here at Visual Communications. We finished some spectacular projects, expanded our business, and exceeded our client’s expectations. But apparently we weren’t the only one who noticed.

As if to drive the point home that 2012 and 2013 were the best years we have ever had, the Midway Chamber of Commerce has named us as the 2013 Small Business of the Year. To say we are honored is a major understatement. We’ve been reaching out across the state, creating satisfied customer after satisfied customer. But now we’ve been recognized here at home, and you know how the saying goes…home is where the heart is and our heart is warm and proud.

What does the award mean? Well, it goes to a business with under 10 employees that excels in:

  • Productivity
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Sustainability
  • Business practices

We received the award at the MCC Annual Celebration. Other nominees were:

  • Bywater Business Solutions
  • Chocolat Celeste
  • Ted Davis Communications

We’re thrilled to be in the company of such steep competition. We also want to commend all the other nominees for their hard work and all they give to our community.

Here’s to another great year already underway. Thanks to you, our past and future customers, for helping us blaze new trails in the wayfinding design industry!
