St. Paul Central LibrarySt. Paul Central Library was built in an Italian Renaissance revival style and was completed in 1917. In the 2002 renovation this historic structure, the largest branch in St. Paul, introduced new library wayfinding, identity and donor recognition signage. Features marking the library’s style were included in the signage design: the round arching of the windows; the large stonework; the rondel features; the use of classical columns and pilasters, and more. Library signage was constructed of metals and glass, and features easily changeable messaging utilizing printable signage materials created by library staff. |

Ridgedale LibraryCreation of a unique interior and exterior library signage plan for this community center included a variety of signage and sign types that provide continuity throughout the library, its service center and its courts facilities. Signs combine architectural finish elements to accent the interiors with wayfinding information. Award-winning “kidlinks” signage is a moving, eye-catching mobile that is a standard at all Hennepin County Libraries. |
