Bethel University Brushaber Commons Monson Dining Center Saint Paul, Minnesota

Brushaber Commons, a 110,000-square-foot facility, houses student government offices, an expanded dining center, and gathering spots for students. The spacious, new Monson Dining Center is a far cry from the typical university kitchen. This dining center features six stations with international fare: "Piatti de Pasta", "The Carvery", "Ensalada", "Piatta Italiano", "Explore", and "Braaivleis" (Afrikaaner for "grill").

Each station has a special font and pattern background identity that can be easily removed for special functions. Support bars then become decorative elements on the servery soffits. In addition, daily, changeable menus were incorporated to meet the daily menu changes.

This á la carte dining facility is part of the new construction for Bruschaber Commons at Bethel University in Arden Hills. Primary identity complemented the architectural design with aluminum rods, and directories that can be maintained internally for fast menu changes. Fabrication was provided by Archetype SignMakers.

Bethel University Brushaber Commons The Underground & Campus Store Saint Paul, Minnesota

The Underground late night venue and Campus Store are part of the new construction for Bruschaber Commons at Bethel University in Arden Hills. The Underground signage uses LED flexible light strips and mirrors to create a sensational environment. The perforated face and halo illuminated LED lighting of the Campus Store creates a classic identity for this upscale store. Fabrication was provided by SignArt.

Bethel University Brushaber Commons Campus Wayfinding & Identification Saint Paul, Minnesota

Brushaber Commons opened in March 2009 with campus offices, three dining venues, the Campus Store, the Underground: a late night venue, and a new boardroom and meeting center at Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN. Building standards were made of EcoStone, a recycled paper stone made for signage with aluminum and wood accents. Fabrication was provided by Archetype SignMakers.
